Cherriepie and Ruck come back from a long extended break. Welcome home you nubs! Upon returning, Cherriepie has joined Dreams Dynamis. PrincessDiamand, one of our newer LoC Members also joins Dreams Dynamis. Welcome ladies, the water's warm . . . but probably because Dor peed in it.

Sky

Sky is sky. We did 1 Genbu and 1 Seiryu. Unfortunately our male photographer was away posing for pentmog magazine and we are screenshotless. Nonetheless, our drops are as follows:

Genbu:

Bolteux - M. hands

Chulhoon - Genbu's Kabuto

Seiryu:

Anapuna - D. head

Congratulations to the three of you!

Dynamis B. Glacier

Well, we started late, but not because we wanted to. Perseverance was finishing up their glass on our zone, so Caelan was getting anxious and gave their mule a swift kick in the . . . shin? Caelan you bad boy!

We did pretty well last night with 25 members and killed the fake dynamis boss stone. Kriist and monks (and later we found out thieves too) don't mix like 2 d*cks, but then again as a manthra. Kriist lives by the words "we don't take it, we give it!", but I saw him taking a lot to the tail and eating some dirt last night. Might wanna change your phrase, bud!

One AF2 dropped last night and it was our first. It should have went to me, but I thought Caelan could put more use into it right now.

"Like too see the girls try get these pants off. NEVER" - Caelan

Onto next week!

March 22-23

Sky & Limbus

Due to the Easter weekend holiday, many of our LS members were missing, so there were no notable accomplishments for this section of Dreams.

Dynamis - Xarcabard

Two words: Bad run. As a co-leader, I'm still "feeling the ropes" on this zone. Other zones are easier with 21-24 members because of SE's zone setup. Xarcabard is extremely difficult for a low-man setup because of the following factors:

1) There are stones AND eyes
2) Demons are harder to kill than orcs, yags, quadavs, and gobs
3) The NMs pop in 3s, and are hard to hold them.

Our first Xarcabard run in the prior week, Cherron sac pulled every stage which made things very easy for us. But this week he was missing and, well, I didn't pick up on it quite as fast. I tried to see if instead of sac-pulling, we could get our tanks to kite 2 NMs around while we finished off 1, but that proved quite ugly. I think I must have killed everyone more than 8 times this run, but it was quite a learning experience.

1 BST AF2 droped for Jefa. Congratulations!

"First of all i would like to say a BIG thank you to Dreams for all the sky gear I have gotten! It's very exciting seeing that NIN in an Osode and Byakko's haidate, now pretty much a dream come true. I also want to say I really enjoy running with you guys. The lack of drama and selfishness has been refreshing and makes every sky run an enjoyable time. Thank you all so much for the friendship you have shown me.

Next on the list I would like to add some more sky items to my wish list. Most of these items I know I will be way down the que for, but like i said when I first applied, I'm here for the long haul so w/e it takes I'm willing to put in the time."

Sunday March 16

Kindred Seal 99
The Early Bird Catches the Wyrm

Dreams' first attempt at this specific KS99. The first attempt was a wipe. We rushed in and didn't let the tanks get enough hate before the skillchains went off. The melees skillchained in the beginning (all of them /WAR), and the black mages bursted crazy - from 100-50% in 30 seconds. The dragon then flew in the air and began to kill everyone us with fire spells. Hate was not controlled and we had to accept the wipe. No reraise was possible due to it drawing in the members.

Our second attempt was all win. We decided to go slow and steady in the beginning, allowing the melees to bring our dragon somewhere around 65% HP before skillchaining. The skillchain sent the dragon to the air. Upon flight, Starfyre (RDM/DRK) activated chainspell and stunned it, while the our cute black mage team proceded to nuke heavy to bring the dragon back down the ground at 25%. The melees then proceeded to bring the dragon to its knees in defeat.

Drops were as follows:

Nice work team! Now, let's get some black belt items for our monks!

March 15

Sky
Dreams just popped 1 Water and fought 1 Genbu, which dropped 2 A.hands. Unbelieveable!

Congratulations to Wargod (armor whore) and Zaria.

Dynamis Xarcabard

Tonite marks Dreams' first attempt at Dynamis Xarcabard. We did pretty well with our 21 members and obtained some really nice drops!

1 One Hundred Byne Bill

1 L. Jade Shell

63 Single coins of various currencies

Congrats to Kimaara for obtaining her long sought PLD AF2 Valor Body! Woot!

Congratulations to Dor for obtaining his WHM AF2 Cleric's Mitts . . . after 5 long years of Dynamis experience, he's missing 2 pieces of AF2 to be 5/5 on SMN or WHM. What a guy!

Poor Caelan lotted a 108 on Valor Surcoat, but he obtains a consolation prize of a Wyrm Armet. Congratulations Caelan!

March 13

Sky

We got Despot again, farmed 2 Autumnstones, and popped Ulli 3x. We then proceeded to Byakko and killed him with 16 members.

Drops were as follows:

Congratulations to the following members:

Wargod (Byakko's Haidate)

Mikkel (Byakko's Haidate)

Bolteux (D. Legs)
Yatsumoto (N. Hands)

Limbus
Omega was good to us tonight. Drops were as follows:

Congratulations to Theneck and Venomice (again) for receiving their Homam Leg pieces.

March 8-9

General:
This weekend, Nugotugo pulls up to first place as the top armor whore of our LS.

New Recruits:
Please welcome our newest member(s):
Ean (Dynamis)

Sky:
Kirin was stingy again. Congrats to Topler for D. body. We also got a D. ingot.

Dynamis:
Jeuno was a bit of a crazy experience. We were low-man, but we were missing a couple of our key players from previous runs, though gained some new faces. Starfyre and Bolteux are original members of Dreams, but recently joined our Dynamis group. Ean was also recruited as a Dynamis only member. We still came out with a win, though the death toll was high. Still nothing to complain about when you're running zones like Dynamis with only 18 members.

Thanks guys!

Drops were as follows:
NIN (Nugotugo)
MNK (Nugotugo)
DRK (Yatsumoto)

Limbus
Proto Ultima was easy this weekend. Kill time in about 25 minutes. We got lucky and popped the item chest first. 3 deaths, but they don't count as it was before the last 20% of the fight. We zerged Ultima from 21% to 0% in 20-30 seconds, without it even being able to slam us with 1 citadel buster. You guys are too good.

Drops were as follows:
Nashira Hands: Rari
Nashira Hands: Chantal (Arctyreal)

Congratulations to the both of you!

Onto next week for more fun.

March 1-2

General:
It was a great weekend for drops, and though a number of members received really items, Venomice again pulls up to first place as the top armor whore of our LS.

New Recruits:
Please welcome our newest member(s):
Madddog (Dynamis)

Sky:
Kimaara walks away with MVP of the Kirin run. She kited Kirin without dying once the whole run, surviving even Astral Flow with no damage taken. What a girl!

Wargod finally obtains his long awaited Kirin's Osode. Venomice also finally achieved non-gimp status by obtaining D.body. Congrats to both of you.

Dynamis:
We finally beat the Glacier, and with 23-24 people in the LS at any time. Dor takes a self-proclaimed MVP title for Dynamis. Madddog takes title for the most deaths for the run.

Our drops were as follows:

Congratulations Theneck!

Congratulations Nugo!

Congratulations Venomice . . . again . . .

Meh, this drop really sucks Enrollox . . . I don't know why you lotted it.

On to next week!

Yatsumoto and Osyris return to LoC and Dreams after a long extended break from the game. Their skills are a plus to our abilities to remain victorious as an LS. Welcome back guys, we've missed yah!

All weekends are nice because someone in the LS always gets a drop. This weekend's winners are noted below. Congrats to all!

Sky
We killed Genbu 2x. No luck farming water or diorites, but our drops are as follows:

A. head - Supahkhronic
Genbu Kabuto - Supahkhronic
V. Claw
Oxblood

Dynamis B. Glacier

We did really well with 24 members, having 1 hour to kill the boss, but we screwed up the pull and the dragons raped us every time we tried to raise.

At any rate, our drops went to the following members:

BRD - Jefa
WAR - Kboogies
SAM - Badman

Limbus - Proto Omega
Another smooth victory for our fellow LS members. Drops were as follows:

Homam Legs - Xemo
Homam Head - Theneck

Also note, Xemo is now 5/5 on Homam.

Xemo's Comment
9.20.2006 - 1st Dream Limbus run
2.24.2008 - Homam Complete
Thanks everyone that are here since we started this Limbus adventure and everyone else that joined us along the way that helped me getting this insane kit.
Thanks Team.
Keep up the good work.^^b

February 18, 2007

Some Dreams members decided to take the ballerina down again and got Anapuna some dune boots. Congrats Ana!

The more I play events in Dreams, the more I grow more fond of all its members and events. This is not to say that other linkshells cannot accomplish what Dreams has done to date, but I can say that the environment within the LS and the skill set each member brings to the table make things run smooth and establish a uniqueness to Dreams, setting it apart from most linkshells on the server. Low-man events which used to require to 2-3 full alliances of 18 are now being done with a little over 1 alliance in Dreams. I couldn't be any more proud.

I remember 3 years ago I joined an LS called Valkyrs, my very first endgame linkshell. Though I was there for 3 months, it taught me a lot about how linkshells should be run, the type of leadership that needs to be in place to breed loyal and skilled members. Things were different back then . . . there were maybe only 5 end-game shells to choose from:

Ascension / Kaizen (pretty cool group, but wanted you to have them on 100% of the time)
Blood of Legends (known to have a bad rep)
BlessedEternity (for some reason, their leadership was said to have ties to gil sellers)
Outterheaven (leadership was said to use 3rd party tools)
Valkyrs (cool group, but one of their leaders was Candia which made it bad)

When I left the Valkyrs due to disagreements I had with que lines and how some of my friends in that LS were being screwed over, many laughed at me for wanting to start my own end-game linkshell with my social LS. Even some of my own social LS leaders in LoC thought it couldn't be done and that I was in over my head. 3 years later . . .

New Blood, I Mean Recruits!
Recently we've had a number of new members join our end-game events. Welcome to the following individuals:

Acts (Limbus)
Anapuna (Sky and Limbus)
Rolliefingaz (Sky)
Chulhoon (Dynamis)

Sky
We attempted our first Kirin zerg and got it down to 50% before things went south. It was a fun experience that we'll try again, but for now, we'll stick to the basics.

Dynamis San d'Oria
Our dynamis run went really well. We cleared the whole zone with the exception of the boss and his minions all with a member count that was between 18-23 members at any given time. Congratulations to those who received AF2:

DRG - Venomice
RNG - Enrollex
MNK - Narf
WAR - Narf
WAR - Kboogies
WAR - Badman
WHM - Labebe

Limbus
We successfully dual zoned Apollyon SE and NE with a member total of 21. We're gearing up for Omega next Sunday.

Other
Congratulations to Venomice for attaining his dune boots on Sunday evening. He's becoming less gimp everyday!

February 9-10

This weekend honored Venomice the most.

Sky - Seiryu x3, Suzaku x3, Byakko x1
Big weekend for Dreams:
Money Drops:
4 Sirens hair
1 Damascene cloth
1 O. Ingot
1. Divine Log
3 Dragon Blood

Armor Drops:
N. hands - Cherron
Suzy boots - Supahkhronic, Zaria
Seiryu Kote - Zaria
Byakko's Haidate - Venomice
A. legs - Xemo
W. hands - Labebe
D. head - Rolliefingaz
M. head - Mrman

Dynamis:
Dreams' first run at B. Glacier and we got the following noteable items:
MNK - Narf
THF - Venomice
SAM - Cherron
DRG - Venomice
1 One Hundred Byne Bill

We farmed and did well until about 40 mins prior to the end of the run. We accidentally linked all of the mobs connected to the fake stone boss. I also made a bad decision to select the Orc NM, which lead to a small disaster.

Limbus:
Not much to say here, but from what I was told, the run went smooth.

Congrats to everyone who received items!

February 7, 2008 (Sky Farm)

Another great farming night for Dreams. We got what we wanted.

Despot (Gem of the West)
Diorite ---> Ulli (Autumn Stone)
Zipcana (Gem of the North)

2 LS tried to countercamp us at Despot, but fortunately we won him. Then while Dreams went to farm Diorites, I went to widescan for Zip. I was widescanning against another RNG/DNC from a blue-pearled LS. He popped in the basement and the other RNG was upstairs, so I was the first to track him. Luckily the rest of Dreams showed up in Zip's zone before the other LS could show up and we took him down.

Good job guys!

Looking forward to this Saturday scheduled for 3x Seiryu, 3x Suzaku, and a long awaited Dynamis B. Glacier.

On Saturday, please gather together at Suzaku at 11AM EST so we can begin fighting and getting drops as soon a possible.

February 2-3, 2008

What an amazing weekend for drops/wins for our Dreams members. These are the moments which make me very proud to be one of your leaders.

Sky
We obtained the following notable drops (excl the free-lot items):
A. Hands - Dor (our first since we began in October 1, 2007)
A. Hands - Dalbenkrieg (our second!)
D. Log - Treasury

Dynamis Windurst REVENGE
We won the zone with a 21 member count, and had 30 minutes of extra farm time. 3 AF2, 75 single coins, and one 100 coin dropped that night:

NIN - Eiteen
BST - Chaoshao
WAR - Roscovious

Since Dreams started Dynamis in January, we've won 4/5 zones (lost to Windy once), with an average of 22 members per run. The bank balance is now in black at about 1.6M, and I'm happy to say that the shell can sustain its own runs going forward.

Keep up the good work, team.

Limbus: Proto Ultima
Proto Ultima was a good boy and dropped 3 items:

Nashira Body - Dor
Nashira Hands - Labebe
Nashira Feet - Nugotugo

Dor and Nugo are now 4/5 on Nashira and Labebe is now 3/5.

Congratulations to everyone who received items. We're all very happy for you!
